Who we are

Forest Creek Folk is a secular community choir with a focus on folk, indie folk, and country music. Our repertoire features rich, layered arrangements of songs by artists such as ALVVAYS, Adrienne Lenker, Fleet Foxes, The Staves, Gillian Welch, Bon Iver and many more.

The choir is led by James McGuffie (Music Director) and Dani Marano (Choir Coordinator). James oversees the musical direction and vocal leadership, while Dani handles planning, administration, and community coordination.

We proudly welcome people of all ages, genders, and identities and strive to create an inclusive, supportive space for everyone.

While we don’t hold auditions or require you to read sheet music, Forest Creek Folk is best suited for singers who have some experience, as most of our repertoire is arranged in 3-5 part harmonies.

If Forest Creek Folk isn’t the best match for your current experience level, we warmly invite you to join All In Sing -our all-voices-welcome, family-friendly singing events with no experience required.
