SEASONAL CHOIR
Forest Creek Folk is a secular community choir exploring traditional folk, indie folk, and singer-songwriter music through rich, layered vocal harmonies. Our repertoire spans artists such as ALVVAYS, Adrienne Lenker, Fleet Foxes, The Staves, Gillian Welch, Bon Iver, and more, alongside traditional folk songs and Australian artists.
We regularly collaborate with guest musicians and have performed with artists including Hana Stretton and Lior.
We welcome adults of all ages, genders, and identities, and aim to create a supportive, inclusive rehearsal space. While there are no auditions or sheet music requirements, our 3–5 part harmonies are best suited to singers with some choir or harmony singing experience.
If you're new to singing, we'd love to welcome you to All In Sing - our relaxed, all-voices-welcome community singing session with no experience required.
Forest Creek Folk is led by songwriter and producer James McGuffie (Music Coordinator, Forest Creek Records) and freelance creative Dani Marano (Choir Coordinator).

SEASON 4: Wednesday nights Oct 7 - Nov 25. 8 wks. Membership: $105
*All memberships are inclusive of booking and transaction fees.
Rehearsal Venue: Chewton Senior Citizen’s Centre on Djaara Country/ Chewton. Parking via Mount Street.
Time: Hall opens at 7pm. Rehearsal runs from 7.15pm-8.30pm.
Entry requirements: Singing experience recommended, as most of our repertoire is arranged in 3-5 part harmony. No auditions and no sheet music reading required.
What is provided: Each season we will provide you with printed lyric sheets and recordings for you to rehearse with in your own time. We use Samply for recordings and WhatsApp for all choir communication.
